I grew up just outside of a small town in north Iowa, but have since moved to Des Moines. As much as I love the peace and quiet of living out in the country, I appreciate the livelihood of the city and all it has to offer. There's more than just cornfields to photograph out here! And for that I am so thankful.
One thing to know about me is I'm always cracking jokes- often times at my own expense. I trip over my own feet and I mix up my words like scrambled eggs. If I couldn't laugh at myself I think I'd go nuts.
My photographic style is traditional posed shots, with more of a candid and lifelike feel to them. I focus on photographing my clients interacting with each other, rather than staring straight into the camera.
